Douglas Taylor
BIOGRAPHY
Douglas Taylor (He/Him/His) is a Lead Project Developer at IBVEnergy and a young entrepreneur. He specializes in the PJM and MISO regions, focusing on site identification, permitting, community relations, and civic engagement. He began his career in the renewables industry with SunEnergy1, where he concentrated on the environmental aspects of solar projects and managed initiatives requiring state and federal permits.
Douglas is a longtime Charlottean and a proud graduate of Catawba College with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. In addition to his professional career, he serves as the Scouting America Venturing Advancement and Recognition Chair and has over 15 years of involvement with Scouting America. He is also developing a business that benefits the queer Charlotte community. Douglas has previously volunteered with Charlotte Pride, furthering his commitment to community service.
Douglas enjoys attending concerts, volunteering, and spending time with friends and his dog Appa, outside of work.
